Folks, Here is what I have as people RSVPed as “Attending:” Brett B-Russell, Brian McCrea, Dave Price, Derek Blaettler, Edwin Legaspi, Frank Dibartolo, Joe Haughton (1 night), Luciano Pollastrini, Luke Pease, Matteo Evanger, Mike Keane, Paul Tu, Shawn Slaughter, Tim Pruit, Tom Bress, Yeng Veng, Rick Bernstein and Jason C Hawk. Here is what I have as people RSVPed as “Maybe:” Jason Rickard, Kevin Brady, Kevin Leach and Paul Andrea Here is what I have as people RSVPed as “Not Attending:” Len Johnson, Mario Guitierrez and Pete Wise Based on the head count (18 confirmed and 4 maybes) and the assumption that people will probably room 2 to 4 persons per room, I estimate that we will only have at most 10 rooms as a group. As the minimum threshold for them to provide us with a group discount is a reservation of 10 rooms or more as a group, we are on our own as far as room reservation. I reserved two spa suites from the Silver Legacy for Dave, Tom, Edwin, Derek and myself. Each room has a king size bed, a sofa bed and an added roll-away bed. The cost of each suite is $450 for the weekend (total $900 for both suites for two nights). Each suite should comfortably accommodate 4 persons per roomWe have room for three more. First three replies get the spots. For everyone else, please contact the Silver Legacy or nearby hotels (e.g. El Dorado) for your reservation ASAP. There seems to be an event on the May 16th weekend so the rooms are going fast. I also attached the catering menu and pricing from Silver Legacy. I figured it would be nice for us to have a nice dinner on Saturday night before the mayhem. The banquet room comes with the catering if we go with catering. If not, we can call Silver Legacy to make dinner reservation. They are tied into 26 restaurants on the strip. Either way, we need to move fast on this.
