Folks I got Admin approval to post the following experience and pics. I just wanted to take a minute and post 2 pictures of what happens to our equipment when its not adequately protected. The first picture is of the doors of a double door metal cabinet that weighed 205 lbs empty. I stored all my handguns, factory ammo, reloading dies, extra Hornady powder dispenser, calipers, trimming equipment, storage for other miscellaneous reloading equipment (not assigned a regular position on my reloading bench), over 50lbs of powder (24 lbs made up of 3 8 lbs cans of Winchester 231 powder), and primers. Note that the factory handles and locks were blown off the doors. The 2 hasp (still connected to the doors) and Master Locks (still remain locked in the 2 hasp). When the powder and primers detonated it blew the back wall of the the house out and the cabinet landed over 30 yards out in the backyard. If anyone needs a a good laugh message me and I will tell you what happened when I contacted Master Lock. The second picture is a piece of the metal roof. This shows what bullets do to a metal roof when over 18,000 rounds are set off during a house fire. This fire occurred on July 30, 2009. If anyone would like to see additional pictures let me know.
