Folks, I would very much like to suggest some of the key organizers here start an Avaaz petition. Im 100 percent sure this would go global. I think the Yukon gov has already dismissed local opposition, but could they dismiss a million people from around the world outraged at their callous disregard for the remarkable Peel watershed, given massive opposition to it, and the process they have completely ignored? I dont think Im the right one to start the petition but I could give feedback, and Avaaz organizers are excellent at giving feedback and suggesting strategies. This would become a national and possibly international issue overnight.
