Folks are griping about taxes and tax breaks. Mean Evil Corporations getting tax breaks and all that, right? Heres my response: 10%. Across the board. No matter what. Wanna be fair? Thats fair. Better yet, lets go back to they way its SUPPOSED to be. The Federal government was never supposed to be able to collect an income tax. Our founders knew that would be the quickest way to see the federal government grow too big for its collective britches. The federal government is supposed to be funded ENTIRELY by tariffs on imported goods. This saves us a CRAPload of money and FORCES the government to live within its means. This also makes the goods built abroad cost more than those made in America. Which creates JOBS in America. Which makes us more prosperous, less folks on the government dole, and EVERYONE benefits. See what happens to those mean ole corporations then. They would be fighting tooth and nail to do business in America. The way it OUGHT to be. Dang, that was pretty good. Its amazing that the founders had it all right to begin with, but the DEMOCRATIC PARTY in WWII screwed it all up. Learn history, and maybe we could fix this mess that should never have happened in the first place. Oh, and an added benefit: The IRS would be history, too. Talk about saving a CRAPload of money!
