Folks don’t seem to realize there is no real journalism at work in the big networks so therefore there is little to no truth shared locally, either. The US government must “approve” all stories of significance prior to airing and the networks know what subjects are taboo. The powers-that-were have ingrained in the public the belief that anything worth knowing comes to them on the 6:00 news and they need look no further.
