Folks, please be aware of the Questions and Answers on the Premium Tax Credit. There is a lot of misinformation on this floating around in the GOP groups and Pages. They want to discredit the ACA and the IRS (as usual). The irs.gov website has good information and will help folks who qualified for the Premium Tax Credit (PTC) to file their returns for free. Also, H&R Block has a nice Q&A on the ACA and form 8962 to reconcile their estimate of their whole family modified adjusted gross income with what it actually was. They could get a tax refund for high balling their modified AGI estimate, or they could owe for low balling when they applied for healthcare insurance premium subsidies.
