Follow-up from the AACoPD regarding the robbery at Checkers in Glen Burnie. On September 22, 2014, at approximately 12:28 am, officers from Northern District responded to the Checkers Restaurant located in the 100 block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie for a reported armed robbery of the business. Upon arrival, officers spoke with three employees still on the scene. The employees reported that one of the employees was at the rear of the parking lot taking out the trash when he was approached by three black male suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and ordered the employee back into the business. Once inside, the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the business, and they also took cell phones from employees and the business phone before fleeing on foot towards the Sun Valley Shopping Center. Several officers, the Aviation Unit and a K-9 Unit responded to canvass the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. Suspect #1: Black male in his late teens, 5’10”- 6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt with silver and white writing on the front, white shoes, sunglasses and a white cloth covering his face Suspect #2: Black male in his late teens, 5’10”-6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, red athletic shorts, red/white sneakers, a white cloth covering his face and sunglasses Suspect #3: Black male in his late teens, 5’10”-6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing a dark sweatshirt, a black beanie style cap, a white cloth covering his face, sunglasses, gray sweatpants, dark sneakers and carrying a dark-colored backpack
