Following Your Dreams – Duct Tape Surfing! I’m sure many of you will have seen the video of disabled mom Pascale Honore managing to fulfil her dream of surfing with the help of some duct tape and family friend Tyron Swan – it’s one of those videos that quickly went viral because it’s just too good not to share. I went surfing for the first time a few months ago and it was a truly breathtaking and exhilarating experience, I can imagine why it would be a dream for many people. Yet for Pascale, who has no feeling in the lower part of her body and cannot use her legs, it seemed like something she would never get to do. However, they say where there’s a will, there’s a way and that was certainly true in her case, because she finally managed to get out on those waves, duct-taped to the back of Tyron Swan! Seeing her on the water, getting to do something she has always wanted is incredible, it really makes you feel as though anything is possible and that nothing can stand between us and our dreams if we work hard enough!
