Following a complaint in regard to the lineage on the games area up at the top of West Ave we contacted SBC... they are known for their excellent maintenance throughout the Borough so this reply should not surprise anyone... ---- Dear Mr Bradney, Thank you for your enquiry regarding the above MUGA which has been passed to me for reply. Whilst we would very much like to repaint the lines on the MUGA playing surface, unfortunately we do not have sufficient funds in our maintenance and repair budgets at present to do this. We have to give priority to repairing items that are damaged or things that pose a safety hazard to parks users. It may be that members of the community may can source funding to get this work done from an external source if there are quite a few people who feel strongly about it. I regret that we cannot be of further assistance on this at the current time but I am sure that you are aware of the current financial pressures we are having to deal with. Best regards, SBC
