Following on from the conclusion of the Team competition out at the FEI Pony European Jumping Championships at Millstreet, Ireland, GB Team Fairfax took fourth overall after being narrowly beaten in a closely fought jump off with the German Team for the Bronze Medal. After the first individual qualifying round yesterday and the two rounds of Team Competition today, both Britain and Germany were tied on 20 penalties, meaning that both Teams had to go forward into the jump off. The jump off saw both Teams finishing on 0, but the British Team were pipped their times, which pushed them into down into fourth. The best of the Brits individually are Harry Charles & Aroldo, who sit in equal third on a fantastic score of 4 penalties after three rounds. We now look forward to the decider for the Individual medals, which will take place on Sunday 3rd August, starting at 12.00pm. The full report on todays competition will follow.
