Following on from the extra possibilities that the middle rope gave us, even more exciting news is that springboard attacks are finally a reality. These allow suitably agile wrestlers to hop up onto the ropes themselves and launch an improvised flying attack from pretty much anywhere - and TO pretty much anywhere! The new wargames arena was the perfect testing ground, where you can see that its possible to launch yourself from one ring to the other - or even from any side of the ring to the outside Asai style. The humble double-axe handle isnt the best example, but thats all I have right now. The good news here is that the functionality is in place. Although the poor video quality doesnt do it justice, Im also happy with the new and improved flight physics overall. The way theyre triggered with Wrestling Revolutions hold and release mechanism also feels more satisfying - and can even be used for a split-second delay on springboard attacks!
