Following on from the success of 2013s Christmas Tree Display, we are hoping to create another beautiful Christmas Tree exhibition in St.Stephens Church, Thorpe Lane. The concept is that local businsses, clubs, individulas and families enter their own imaginitive, themed tree decorated with associated items and objects. For example, the surgery could use bandages for tinsel or a farm tree would have plastic animals hung instead of baubles. We are hoping everyone will have new designs and decorations rather than just using last years, (although we understand some themes are difficult to vary). -There is a limited number of spaces available, all people wishing to display a tree must phone first. -Power will be available for some trees to be lit-up but flashing lights must not be used. -Artificial trees only. 5ft or under but any shape or colour. -Place a card underneath saying who you are and what you do. -ALL trees must be taken away on 3rd Jan. We look forward to seeing your clever creative ideas! Switching On will be by Paddy-In-The-Morning during the schools church service on Fri 5th Dec which is the official opening of Victorian Weekend.
