Following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the duty of every Muslim. Take a quick look at the 40 good habits we should follow from the Hadiths to become a better Muslim: 1. Refrain from sleeping between Fajr and Ishraq, Asr and Maghrib, Maghrib and Isha 2. Do not sleep between people who talk bad before sleeping 3. Don’t eat and drink with your left hand 4. Don’t eat the food that is taken out from your teeth 5. Don’t break your knuckles 6. Check your shoes before wearing it 7. Don’t look at the sky while in Salah 8. Don’t spit in the toilet 9. Don’t clean your teeth with charcoal 10. Sit and wear your trousers 11. Don’t break tough things with your teeth 12. Don’t blow on your food when it’s hot 13. Don’t look for faults of others 14. Don’t talk between Iqamath and Adhan 15. Don’t speak in the toilet 16. Don’t speak tales about your friends 17. Don’t antagonize your friends 18. Don’t look behind frequently while walking 19. Don’t stamp your feet while walking 20. Don’t be suspicious about your friends 21. Don’t speak lies at anytime 22. Don’t smell the food while you eat 23. Speak clearly so others can understand 24. Avoid travelling alone 25. Don’t decide on your own but do consult others who know 26. Don’t be proud of yourself 27. Don’t be sad about your food 28. Don’t boast 29. Don’t chase the beggars 30. Treat your guests well with good heart 31. Be patient when in poverty 32. Assist a good cause 33. Think of your faults and repent 34. Do good to those who do bad to you 35. Be satisfied with what you have 36. Don’t sleep too much- it will cause forgetfulness 37. Repent at least 100 times a day (Istighfar ) 38. Don’t eat in darkness 39. Don’t eat mouthful 40. Avoid sitting with smelly people
