Following the Vietnam War, many Black soldiers returned still - TopicsExpress

Following the Vietnam War, many Black soldiers returned still finding rampant discrimination and inequality. In some cases, there were extensive administrative hurdles erected preventing them from receiving services set aside for those who received injuries. Many suffered from drug addiction. And this, my friends is, very true. We traded the front lines only to wind up at the back of any line upon returning home. The U.S. military and the Veterans Administration will, indeed, abandon you once theyve gotten what they want from you. These days I do my utmost to discourage young Black men from entering this web of deceit and racism.
