Following the expiration of the 21 days ultimatum issued to the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, on Sunday to address welfare of its staff, the industry unions have once again issued another 14 days ultimatum to the management. The leaderships of the two unions; Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, ATSSSAN, and National Union of Air Transport Employee, NUATE threatened to commence on indefinite strike by the end of the 14 days ultimatum if the demands of the staff were not addressed by the management before then. The petition titled, “Re: Unbearable Burden of Workers Grievances – Notice of Industrial Action,” was jointly signed by Acting General Secretary of ATSSSAN Comrade Olayinka Olusanya Abioye and the Acting General Secretary, NUATE, Comrade Abdulkareem Motajo
