Following the summer break the Clé Club returns to Liberty Hall, Dublin at 8.00pm on Wednesday 17th September, kicking off the Autumn season with the magical musical duo of Peter and Padraig McGovern. Longford accordion player Peter Carberry and uilleann piper Padraig McGovern from Leitrim won critical acclaim for their last album Forgotten Gems. They will be introduced at the Clé club by Tony McMahon who hailed the release of the album as a significant event in Irish traditional music. “It is such an important recording that I believe it should be in the hands of every single person learning to play or indeed listening to Irish traditional music, and I include myself in that.
