Food Stamp Fraud is Rampant and has been for many years...I know when I was working for Wal Mart in their Loss Prevention Department there was Fraudulent use of food Stamps on a Daily bases. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal threw a knock-out blow at Walmart EBT thieves, banning them from the food stamp system for at least a year. The EBT looters knew how much taxpayer money they had available to spend, but due to a glitch in the EBT system they were able to exceed the limits and purchase incredible amounts of food at Walmart. The looters were able to do this because Walmart employees overrode the internal $50 limit during the glitch. While Walmart ultimately paid for the theft committed by the looters, the corporation apparently immediately moved to get back the loss by cutting hours, canceling shifts and sending people home early.
