{Food for Thought} Its no secret that Im no fan of deprivation diets. So, it probably doesnt come as a surprise that I am sharing this :) Calorie counting to the point that youre starving & miserable OR eating a diet that makes you miserable are only short term solutions that make it impossible to attain what were really after, a lifestyle. In fact, those two scenarios only create a lifestyle of yo-yo dieting. Tom Venuto is spot on when he says theres more to it. It takes a long time to get where you want to be and it is going to take a lot of work on many fronts. And then, you must maintain. In my opinion, maintaining is harder than attaining, especially if youve attained your fat loss with excessive amounts of workouts and extreme calorie counting. Off the soap box now and onto Soccer Mom Sunday ;) Looking forward to working out with everyone tomorrow.
