Food for thought: I wonder if the DAA was to sever ties with the large food companies as suggested, would Pete Evans then sever his ties with his non-paleo income sources e.g. Petes Pizza, my kitchen, my party and other books, his Italian restaurant etc? Hes pulled the advertisement of them from his website, but theyre still available in stores. Goes both ways I wouldve thought…. He is likely using that income to promote his new healthier lifestyle approach….So how is that different to the DAA promoting healthier eating with help from funding from larger bodies that may not necessarily advocate for the same healthy eating principles? Not a dig at Pete or the DAA - merely opening up a discussion on this hot topic.
