Foolishly, an Evangelist friend of mine, who in the spirit of trying to be helpful, tried to break down some things for me from the bible, (IN WHICH I AM ALREADY VERY WELL VERSED,) to explain to me what God is TRYING to say. Well, that friendship is officially over now, because they were offended by my rebuttal of their changing of the words to twist it into what they wanted the scriptures to mean. Feel me on this: Forget the fact that I am a Publisher and an Author. Forget the fact that I am an educated and licensed Counselor and Life Coach. Forget the fact that I am already an intelligent, patient individual with 46 years of living under his belt,...meaning I have seen and lived through some things. The simple truth is this: I AM MORE THAN CAPABLE OF READING AND DISCERNING FOR MYSELF EXACTLY WHAT IS WRITTEN WITHIN THE PAGES OF THE BIBLE FOR MYSELF. I ALSO KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING THE RULES. PROVERBS 3:5 TEACHES US: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Well, that would never even be an issue if we simply obey THE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS AT THE VERY END OF THE BIBLE, which are understood to be the literal words of God himself. Not a prophets. And this is specifically aimed at all of the so called preachers and teachers who are so quick to try and instruct and direct the lives of others with the threat of Gods wrath to the listener if obedience is not attained. REVELATIONS 22:18-19: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. THATS GOD TALKING,...NOT ME. AND IN PLAIN ENGLISH WHAT THAT MEANS IS: DONT CHANGE OR ALTER ANY OF THE WORDS FOR NO REASON PERIOD! Stop twisting the word of God. Stop using it to try and line your own pockets. Stop trying to manipulate people into your way of thinking. Stop trying to lead people, that no God anywhere ever appointed you to be over. Your job is to preach and to instruct THE WRITTEN WORD of God. Not to embellish or to alter it to suit your needs. Get right, or get lost. But more importantly, youd better learn to recognize, that people are no longer ignorant. We had to be hearers of the word in biblical times because our educational levels did not allow for the common man or woman to read for themselves. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE. If you want to be a true man or woman of God,....CHECK WITH GOD FIRST TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU POSSESS THE RIGHT QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB. A lot of you have no place in the kingdom. And thats not me condemning anyone. I dont have a heaven or a hell for nobody. You condemn yourselves with your actions, with your lies, with your rants, with your manipulation, with your twisting of the word and taking from the poor to improve your own conditions while claiming that it is all in the name of God and for the good of the church. God is no where in your equation.And quite frankly, YOU DISGUST ME. I will say this one last time: God does not need ANYONE to speak for him.
