Football is like life - it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority. Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is. Teams do not go physically flat, they go mentally stale. Tonight dont allow the PLAINSMENs to go stale. This is your last game, your last home game, the last game of the season, your last game as a plainsmen. As a senior this is your night! No one can take this night away from you ever. Make tonight a memorable night, regardless of a win or a loss, play your best but have fun, play with a smile, engage your fellow seniors and the crowd, REGARDLESS OF THE SCORE have fun. This is the end of a huge journey you set out on 4 years ago, a dream to play football, a starter on a varsity football squad. You wouldnt have settled for anything less. Yes this is the closure of a door in your life, but know with this door closing it opens up many other opportunities in life for you. Keep in mind Confidence is contagious. So is lack of confidence I believe in you! You can and will never fail in life, you may fall short, but get back up, clear your mind and move on to the next day.
