For 14 years, she has been part of the family. I remember coming home to our new house, seeing Tifni, playing with a brown brindle dog that she rescued from the shelter in Allen. At that time, we were told that she was a year and a half to two years old, but she bounced around like a puppy. Since she was orphaned, we had to call her Annie. She has been with us through all the holidays in our house. She has seen 2 other dogs come and go. She was there when we brought home all 4 of our children. And while we had our ups and downs (like all family members do), she was always there to let the babies crawl on her like a jungle gym or protect us from the door to door salesman and the rabbits and squirrels in our yard. As hard as it was, I am thankful that I could be there to hold her and talk to her, until the end. Love you Annie Girl. Im thankful for the time we had with her and that she is no longer suffering.
