For 30 years have lived along the motorway edge.Thirty years ago trees were planted with no thought given to their maintenance .At 70 I find it hard keep getting up ladders to clear the gutters,& to replace broken fencing & paving by root intrusion.Thirty years ago they said they would build a noise reducing fence!Next week our local councillor is coming to discuss how to solve it all at no cost to me that could be interesting.On this link look at the last picture first to give you an idea of the height of the trees,in between the first & last you can see the dark side & the damage the trees do to the fence.Interesting times looks pretty but not practical! sdrv.ms/18PuqbV
