For 8 months I have been saying, I cant run, my knees wont take it. Ive been up and down with my emotions with it and definitely had good and bad days. Well, two nights ago my 6 yo asked me to run and walk with him, and I did it. Then last night he wanted to again, so we completed the first day of a 5K training. My take aways: 1. If a 6yo can do it so can I! 2. Was I in pain, yep but I pushed through it. 3. Is there still something wrong with my knees that no one can figure out - probably but Im tired of it ruling my life!
