For Christmas Chris Krovatin, renowned YA author, gave his mother a set of Jane Austen temporary tattoos. So now I have a very florid rendering of the word imprudent at the nape of my neck. (Maria has a top hat with the name Mr. Darcy beneath it on her forearm.). It was a tough call since there is also one that says £10,000 a year. It is a truth universally acknowledged that there is never too much Jane Austen. Although I suspect she would find a tattoo, however temporary, very Mary Crawford.
