For Christmas my sister Kate got me the entire series of Roseanne. We were debating what years it ran. It was from August 1988-May 20, 1997. First episodes of first seasons are always so awkward with canned laughter and before the artists get executive production rights from the network. But also so cute when they were all so young and not famous and havent gotten to know each other yet. Booker the boss (young George Clooney) isnt nearly as attractive as a young man as he is older but fun to watch. ( Later on guest stars include Loretta Lynn, Bob Hope, Wayne Newton, David Crosby, Neil Patrick Harris, Morgan Fairchild, Bill Maher, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Joan Collins, Chris Farley, Michael OKeefe, Vicki Lawrence, Florence Henderson, Fabio, Sharon Stone, Ellen DeGeneres, and I seem to remember all of the TV moms from the fifties one time as well.
