For Friends only, PM Mr. Narendra Modi has blamed the whole Banking Employees and Officers by calling them as Lazy during the two days Gyan Sangam recently held at PUNE instead of Appreciation for the RECORD number of accounts under PMJY scheme being opened during the span of a weeks time for which he is taking credit and it would not have been possible without the wholehearted support of Bankers who worked beyond working hours by sitting late besides completing the daily routine heavy heavy loaded work facing obstacles like inadequate staff , poor connectivity, poor infrastructure, lack of security etc. Matter of concern is that he has nothing to show more than this achievement in his report card except the opening of Ten Crore Bank Accounts. This shows the total negative approach of the Government as well as the PM of the country. We the Bankers belonging to Public Sector should not expect any more in terms of either good words for Hard Work or early Settlement of the much awaited Wage Revision. Present Govt is more serious about the Industrialists and Corporates and he justified his duty by calling ICICI Bank the excellent. we fail to understand what made him speak good for a Private Sector Bank which has hardly shown much interest in opening accounts under PMJY scheme with ZERO balance. The need of the hour is to intensify the agitation demanding a Reasonable wage revision and not succumb to the pressure from IBA & GOVT. Hope UFBU leadership will definitely act on such line being the only wish and demand of every Bankers. Hope you will help us to change his mind set against bankers.
