Best western Hotel 915 E 53rd Street N Wichita, Kansas, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This event will honor and pay special tribute to outstanding children in our community who have made a significant contribution in the shaping and building of their community. Admission is a $10 donation, with limited scholarships available. Special guest speakers will include: Parents and Family Members of Wichita, KS;. These dynamic people of power, from all walks of life, will highlight the contributions of all of our honorees and recognize their noteworthy involvement in the making of a stronger, greater community for our future generation. The fundamental purpose of this Awards Ceremony and Benefit Event is two-fold: 1) to honor the selfless contributions of unique children who give tirelessly of their time, talent and resources to help in the shaping and building of their community; 2) to raise funds to provide intervention for the children of gang affiliation by allowing them to branch out of crime and the drug lifestyle.
