For Immediate Release: On Friday, July 18th Roy Vogt presents his Fourth Annual Thunder Row Bass Invitational at Douglas Corner Café, 2106 8th Ave S., Nashville, TN 37204 at 7 pm. The Bass Invitational features some of the finest up and coming young bassists as well as bass icons from around the US and beyond. Tickets are $10 at the door and proceeds benefit the W.O. Smith Community Music School wosmith.org/ as well as the Lane Baldwin Emergency Relief Fund. Lane is a long-time figure in the Bass and Blues Community who has had several health setbacks this year and needs help with Medical and Living Expenses at this time. “Since he was instrumental in implementing Low Notes for Nashville’s fundraiser after the 2010 Nashville Floods, I think it’s a good thing to pay it forward and give Lane a hand at a challenging time”, Roy said.
