For Jewish men only: Just a quick update on some of the exciting student program offerings we will be running at Ohr Somayach Monsey NY this summer. Shavuos Program We are hosting a two day program over Shavuos, Tue June 3rd – Thu June 5th.. Shvaous is the Yom Tov of Torah, and we have crafted an inspiring and highly educational program, with terrific meals and many choices of classes and study opportunities. Rabbi Y Y Rubinstein together with Ohr Somayachs exceptional staff will be presenting to the participants. We invite any student or young professional to come and join us for Yom Tov. Summer Torah Experience We will be hosting a three week open enrollment Summer Torah Experience program from June 16th – July 7th. As we did in our very successful winter program, it will be a full multi level learning and Jewish experience program for the entire three weeks. The STE also includes trips, tours, and a real look into Jewish community living. Each student will be assigned a mentor for the duration of his stay to help maximize his stay, and to reach his own personal goals. There is no required start date or end date so that each student can work with his schedule. In addition to our very dedicated Rebbeim and staff, the program includes many noted guest speakers and community activists. The goal of the program is to take a student who has had some level of experience, and allow him to dedicate time, locally in the United States, to further explore and learn about his Torah heritage. Students can decide what topics they want to learn, which areas they want to explore, and what questions they want to ask. Rebbeim are available throughout the day for one on one discussions and learning with any program participant. Participants are welcome to stay on and join our Yeshiva program until the end of our Z’man July 31st. Year round Link ‘N’ Learn Ohr Somayach has three full time , highly successful yeshiva learning levels running concurrently through the year. All Rebbeim encourage and guide their students to achieve self sufficiency in their Torah learning and are readily available to provide healthy and balanced mentoring to assist students navigate their personal life challenges. Our current beautiful full time student body are constantly realizing new goals, mastering new skills, and moving along to their next challenge. I welcome you to drop in at any time ! Throughout the year we remain open and available for short term learning. Dozens of students and young professionals have taken time this year to spend some quality study and growth time at Ohr Somayach .
