For Joanne Christine Nilsen {~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{~{ Your P.O.V Alright everyone lets run this again I tell my dance team and we get into formation. I nod my head in the direction of the D.J and the intro to Lips Are Moving begins to play. 5. 6. 7. 8 I count out the steps and I watch in the mirror as we carry them out perfectly. That was great guys. Go ahead and take a couple minutes for a break. After that i want to show you all some new moves Ive been working on I dismiss the team and walk over to where my gym bag is. I take my water bottle out and let the cool water run down my throat. So are you ready for tomorrow? My best friend Chris asks me as he sits down on the floor. I put my water back into my bag and take a seat next to him. I dont know. I mean were doing a really great job with executing the moves on time. I just dont know if it will be enough to win. The teams were going up against this year are really good and I dont know if we are good enough to beat them. I rant, letting my inner fears come out. Chris and i have been best friends since we were 4 and we share everything. There would be no point in lying to him. He would know it after the first word. I know Jo. But the moves youve came up with are incredible. I mean you really have a talent. And I know youre worried about the other teams, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about. And do you know why? I shake my head, not knowing where hes going with this. You have nothing to worry about because they dont have YOU! He shouts the last part and I laugh at my best friends foolishness. I dont know, I guess well see tomorrow. But i think if we have any chance of winning we have to get back to work I tell him and we both get up from the floor. Alright everyone break time is O-V-E-R. Lets get back to work! I yell out and we begin all over again. Louis POV Great practice boys. Remember there is no practice tomorrow and then theres a game on Friday. Alright you blokes go on home! Coach tell us and we all go to the locker room to change. I come out of the locker room to see Niall, Harry, Liam and Zayn already waiting there. Well you guys changed fast I comment and they laugh Thats because we werent spending all our time styling our hair Zayn comments and I burst out laughing, because he is always the one who is doing his hair. Alright alright. So what are we going to do now I ask and they all shrug their shoulders. Finally Niall speaks up. Well I dont know about you guys, but practice starved me. Why dont we go grab some pizza The rest of the guys nod. Alright well since its settled lets go I say and we all start walking down the hallway. Me, Harry, and Liam talk about the new Call of Duty game that came out last week while Niall and Zayn ramble on about some crap. My favorite part is the newest wea- Im cut off by Niall. Whoa whats going on in there He runs up to a classroom door and looks through the window. The rest of the guys follow and I join in. I peer into the window to see a group of people dancing. In the very front stands a girl, who, from behind, looks absolutely stunning. I watch as she moves to the music so fluently. Lou, come on man lets go Liam breaks me out of my trance and I see that the rest of the guys have already started walking back down the hall. I take one last look at the girl and follow after them. We finally get outside and then I remember I forgot my gym bag. Hey, um I forgot my gym bag in the locker room. Im gonna go run back and get it. You guys can go ahead on the the pizza place. Ill just meet you there in a few I tell them and they take off in the direction of the diner. I stuff my hands in my winter coat, trying to keep them warm from the December chill. Finally after what seems like an eternity, I walk back into the warm school. I go straight to the locker rooms and grab my bag, making sure everything is in there. I take out my phone and walk out of the room. On my way out I pass the same classroom as before. But its different this time. The team is no longer there. Only the young girl is left in the big room. I set my things down in the hallway and walk into the room, trying to be quiet. I stand in the doorway and watch every move she makes. She goes over the same moves again and again, each time she makes them look effortless. Finally the music stops and she falls to the floor, in what Im guessing is the final move. Instinctively I clap my hand, causing her to jump. She quickly looks behind her and she looks terrified. Oh. Im sorry I didnt know anyone was back there She says breathlessly Its fine love. I was just admiring your dancing. Its really good I say and I can see her blush. Oh um um thanks. But can I ask how long you were standing there? Long enough I smirk and I can see her smile Oh okay She sways back and forth on the balls of her feet. Im Lou- Yeah Louis Tomlinson. I know She tells me which doesnt shock me. I mean I am a pretty popular guy in school. Yep and your name is.... I try to think, know Ive seen her before Joanne. My name is Joanne. We have third period together Oh well that makes sense now. I knew Ive seen you somewhere Yup she comments and walks over to pick up her gym bag. So I was just on my way to get some pizza . Do you..... um. maybe....... uh wanna come with? I ask with a stutter. Dammit, I never stutter. She sheepishly smiles and nods Sure that sounds fun I nod and we both walk out together. When we get outside she shivers and I notice she doesnt have a coat on. I take my coat off and put it over her shoulders. She smiles and thanks me. I give her a smile in return and we continue to walk to the diner. --------------------------The Next Night-------------------- And the winner is Safety Bay Senior High School The announcer screams into the mic. Joanne and the team get up and take the trophy. Thank you all so much. We could have never imagined that we would win, but thank you all for your support. We look forward to seeing all of you at Regionals She speaks into the mic and I run back stage, making sure to grab the bouquet of roses on the way. I see her walk backstage and her team walks out into the audience. Congrats love I smile as she turns around with a huge grin place on her lovely face. These are for you I hand her the roses and the smile grows. Thank you! No problem. So anyways I know we just met yesterday, but when we talked I feel like I know you on a deeper level. So... do you think that you would you know want to be my ,,,,,my um,,,,, girlfriend I sheepishly ask. And I see her face go blank. Then I feel small arms wrap around me. So Ill take that as a yes? I laugh as she nods her head and she looks up into my eyes.
