For Porscha Bat Sivan. There is no loss that equals that of losing - TopicsExpress

For Porscha Bat Sivan. There is no loss that equals that of losing a child. Our hearts are with you, and Ron Whitehead and I were deeply honored to play a small part in remembering Gabe and the rituals (shown and not-shown) of releasing his spirit to Mother Water and Father Wind. As an aside, there are the ruins of a boat to the right of the spot we chose to spread Gabes ashes. I will post pictures of it later. Though in ruins, it was a fierce boat, a strong boat, a Viking-evoking boat, and a boat that was serving a new life as a pier to take folks out over the water in safety. It didnt have its original purpose; it was staved and mended with concrete to anchor it by the beautiful Baltic, but it had found, in the ruins, new purpose and continuance. I thought of you, dear woman. Do not judge the bereaved mother. She comes in many forms. She is breathing, but she is dying. She may look young, but inside she has become ancient. She smiles, but her heart sobs. She walks, she talks, she cooks, she cleans, she works, she is, but she is not, all at once. She is here, but part of her is elsewhere for eternity. And her heart goes on....her heart goes on and she is not alone as she takes up the new shape of her living past the rending and the wound. youtu.be/m-xnJcp8QM0
