For Records Purpose, Public Hearing & To Whom It May Concerned; the Ogun west senatorial APC primary held on December 8 at the Pavilion ground Ilaro was rigged in favour of a particular aspirant. • Do you know we witnessed a complete hijacking of the process by a full complement of state and government officials, including commissioners, chairmen of local governments, party chairmen, government liaison officers and other government appointees who performed acts that are dangerous to the peace and development of our party at all levels and which have the potential of damaging our chances at the forthcoming elections. • Do you know there are video and photographic evidence of the crude use of raw government power and institutions to manipulate the primary in favour of unpopular Prince Dada Gbolahan. • Do you know that government officials forced delegates to write Dada Gbolahan’s name on the ballot papers and threatened to remove the executive committee members from their wards and local government offices. • Do you know there was presence of heavy security forces to guide the unprecedented activities named primary. • Do you know there were eyes witnesses on Jango, other miscreants and political touts readily available for coercion and beating up of members who refused to compromise. • Do you know several executive and party chairmen were witnessed collecting booklets of ballot papers and writing Prince Dada Gbolahan’s name and then stuffing the ballot boxes with them • Do you know some delegates were threatened & later relieve them off their appointment under Ogun State Govt of Senator Ibikunle Amosuns Administration as they did not cooperated. • Do you know government officials were shouting that they were acting on ‘orders from above.
