For Something a bit more serious, so on Sunday they raced the Japanese Grand Prix during Typhoon Phanphone. Now this just bothers me a tad because of the online commentary regarding the crash, with most people not understanding the danger of the conditions since in the past they raced in worse conditions. Which would be a valid point if they cars hadnt been changed drastically, where not only the engines have been changed to a turbocharged 1.6 liter v6(which makes it have more torque and jumpy, especially in wet conditions) and also a 30% reduction in down-force (which essentially is what helps glue the car to the track in high speeds) only reason the cars have been made this way this year is because car companies think they use the technology in this sport to make more efficient road cars and to make F1 more challenging, at the expense of driver safety. The following video is of Jules Bianchi after aquaplaning off the track in Suzuka, he currently is in critical condition after needing Surgery after sustaining Head Trauma.
