For The Men That Shave The Beard: In The Name Of Allah, Narrated by Abu Said: The Prophet (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said, You will follow the wrong ways, of your predecessors so completely and literally that if they should go into the hole of a mastigure, you too will go there. We said, O Allahs Apostle! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians? He replied, Whom else? (Meaning, of course, the Jews and the Christians.) [Sahih Bukhari Vol 4| Book Of Merits Of Sunnah | Hadith No.662] It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said: The Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said: Whoever does not trim his moustache, he is not from one of us. (Sahih) [Sunan Nasai Vol 1| Book Of Purification | Hadith No.13] Reported by Abu Darda: The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said I have no connection iwth one who shaves, shouts and tears his clothing eg. in grief or affication. [Sahih Muslim | Hadith No. 501] Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said: Trim closely the moustache, and grow beard, and thus act against the fire-worshippers. [Sahih Muslim| Book Of Purification | Hadith No.501] It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalam) said: Trim the moustache and let the beard grow. (Sahih) [Sunan Nasai Vol 1| Book Of Purification | Hadith No.15] It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alayhi Salam) said: The deeds connected to the Fitrah are five (or five things are connected to the Fitrah): circumcision, shaving the pubic hairs, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and Trimming the moustache. (Sahih) [Sunan Ibn Majah Vol 1| The Chapters Of Purification | Hadith No. 292] Comments -> Letting the beard grow means that, unlike the mustache, it should not be trimmed or shaved. Shaving the beard is unlawful and the person doing it is a transgressor, since he violates the dictates of those Ahadith that make the growing of beard mandatory. (Found in Ibn Majah) All Four Main Madhhabs have an accepted view that is it Haram to Touch the beard (i.e Shaving, Trimming or Shaping Up). Sadly Its Mostly the Muslims of today do not Understand that the Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alayhi Wasalam) and the Companions (Radhi Allahu Anhum) Lowered their gaze and turned away from a man with NO BEARD. The Four Madhhabs had the view of not accepting the testimony of a man who shaves and going on to say he is a Fasiq. Abu Hurayrah (ra), reported that the ruler of Yemen, appointed by the Persian emperor Kisra, sent two envoys to the Messenger (saw). When they came into the Prophets (saw) presence, he noticed that they had shaved their beards and let their moustaches grow big. Hating their ugly appearance, The Prophet (saw) turned his face away and said, “Woe be to you, who told you to do so?” They replied:“Our lord (Kisra) did!” The Messenger (saw) responded:“But my Lord, exalted and glorified be He, has commanded me to spare my beard and trim my moustache.” [Recorded by Ibn Jarir at-Tabari, Ibn Sa’d, and Ibn Bishran. Verified to be hasan (good) by al-Albani (Fiqh us-Sirah by al-Ghazali p. 359)] This Is Enough Evidence To Prove Shaving the Beard Is Haram, SO WHY ARE WE AS MUSLIMS WHO SAY WE LOVE THE PROPHET (SALLAHU ALAYHI WASALAM) NOT WILLING TO FOLLOW THE TEACHING OF THE MAN WE SAY WE LOVE. LETS TRY AND ERADICATE THE TRAITS OF HYPOCRISY FROM WITH OURSELVES. I Advise Myself First.
