For a brief time I dated a man, whom although I initially liked and had fun with, it soon changed. Why? Well, if he arrived some place before I did and would say he was meeting a woman and the waitstaff would innocently ask if it was his girlfriend he would not only quickly correctly them that I was merely a friend who happened to be a girl, he would also make sure to relay the same story to me. This was of course between stories of telling me about the other friends he dated and or had plans to spend the following weekend with. He could rarely be bothered to make plans with me ahead of time, yet there were frequently instances of I need to tell you, I have plans with this friend, I had them weeks/months before we started dating. Remember, I said I dated him briefly. After quickly tiring of his behavior I decided to roll on down the road. lol! By comparison, I then started dating a man who doesnt get bent out of shape if someone mistakenly calls me his girlfriend, doesnt go on about his plans with other women, if he has to leave the table for a minute at the restaurant is sure to tell the wait staff to take care of me and get me whatever I want, even though he has a busy schedule and has to leave the state/country on business lets me know when he is leaving and or returning to see when/if he can spend some time with me. It sure has opened my eyes to the type of men I want to spend my time with! Later gators :)
