For a day that started out not so hot, has turned into a really good one. You are not even going to believe this!!! I got another Happy First Birthday card!!!! It is from Tinsley, Jasper and their mom Norma. Thank you so much! It has sparkles on it too! Mom took a picture of it to show you all. This morning was not so good. I was not feeling like my usual kitty self, but after my meds and a few belly rubs and lots of kisses, I was much better. I was able to eat more than I did yesterday and play a bit too with Pink the dog and my fishy toys. Thanks for all of the extra prayers this morning...I know they are working. So, from where I left off yesterday, Dad came home and mowed the lawn. It was awesome cause all of those darned squirrels got scared and were running all over the place. Ha ha you silly rats with tails, as my Mom calls them. I would never want them to get hurt but it sure is fun to watch them go bonkers! I got bored after a bit and decided to take a rest in this really nice box that was at the front door. The mail lady left it yesterday...it sure was comfortable! Hope Mom forgets to give it back! I slept next to Mom and her pillow all night. It was nice, especially since I wasnt feeling great. Being with her makes it all better. Mom is so quiet when she sleeps, but NOT Dad....I am telling you, that guy is definitely building stuff in his sleep, no doubt about it. Sure hope it is a new kitty play tree or something cool like that. Cannot wait for it to be finished. Just a few more nights and I think it will be ready. I sure hope tonight is good too. I am hoping I get a little fire in my tail and I can run around and slip and slide a bit. My home grown slippers are getting longer so the slipping part should be great. It can be a bit dangerous, especially in the kitchen. I usually end up butt first into something. Mom tried to trim my slippers but I just will not have it. No way, these things are one-of-a-kind and I will never part with them. Not while I am awake anyway. Not like when I went to the doctor and they shaved my belly fur when I was asleep...that was just a crime. My belly fur has still not grown all the way back. I need to groom my beautiful cream colored fur, so I will go for now. Maybe Mom will brush me too. That is more like a massage...just awesome! You all should try it one day! I know I ask this a lot, but do not forget to pray for us sick kitties. We really appreciate it. Till tomorrow! Paws, purrs, head bumps and prayers!
