For a millisecond I felt some kinda way. Why? Because our people have been referred to as monkeys. Then I lightened up. Why? Because, in this case I felt I was being over-analytical and hypersensitive. Although I didnt laugh, metaphorically the analogy was acted out very well and I can see the humor WITHOUT ONLY seeing a racially motivated slur. Now dont get me wrong, I know why our people are upset and on edge and I empathize. But not everything is about color nowadays. Though hate still exists, this war has more to do with class than color. Not to mention, the clip is only a minute and thirty sum odd minutes long. How can you draw a solid conclusion on that? Furthermore, you and I know that some folks, and lets be real about this, typically our folks, will go from 0 too 100 if you step in their Js or spill a drink on whatever designer item they spent a mint on.
