For a number of communities across South West St. Elizabeth, lack of water is a huge problem. Not only does it affect of farmers and households, it unfortunately affects our children through out the schools that span the constituency in a very serious way. That is why I fully embraced and promoted the Water Tank in School Push Up Challenge. The initiative called upon people to do push ups and contribute at least $ 500 towards buying water tanks to install in our schools. You can see my challenge here: instagram/p/stLm8Ny2fc/ So far the idea has raised over $500,000 and has helped 33 schools including our own Pedro Plains Primary and Gods Basic School. Despite reaching its initial target the initiative continues to seek funds to continue helping our nations children.
