For a small moment, I realized Ive become everything I ever wanted. In spite of a rough day leading to a rough set with both bands. A few skater kids stuck around and asking to play my guitar. I was still bumming because in my opinion I could have done better playing the show but these kids made it seem as if they saw a great band play. They asked if they could play my guitar, what bands im into, one kid even took out his phone and interviewed Me and Mario on why we play music and what inspires us to write music. In that time it didnt matter if I thought my set sucked because those kids dug every second of it. One of the coolest sets ive played so far! These kids really give me hope for the local scene. These are the kids that will take interest in music themselves because of Ok Robot and maybe, hopefully, someday start a band of their own. Cool feeling. I dig it. Music is a weird thing... My fav part though was playing Of Monsters and Mens Mountain Sound and When Are You Coming Home? with IAMME. I love those songs...Oooh and Monster with The Bots! :) Work in the morning! Zzzz...
