For all Neff cousins in my generation ~ Adam Näf is our 13th-great-grandfather. He was was acclaimed for his heroism and integrity at the second Battle of Kappel (southwest of Zurich, Switzerland) in 1531. For his valiant efforts, on March 10, 1533, he received citizenship in the city of Zurich, which shall also be extended to his descendants. (But I dont think that right of citizenship extends into our 21st century.) Click on each photo to learn more about it.
