For all my friends - It is ridiculously late for the second night running as I prepare to enter a two month Zen meditation retreat tomorrow. I havent felt sleepless like this in more than thirty years in the several days before my submarine would deploy. As then, communication will be very limited once the mooring lines are struck. I will probably be able to come up for traffic about once every five or six days and perhaps give modest responses to what youve sent me by message. Most likely, I will not be posting on the timeline. Should any of you need to notify me of an emergency by voice mail, my cell will be forwarding to Skype since there is no cell coverage where I shall be - only internet. I will monitor skype activity at about 9:30 pm nightly. Strange. Even after a career of leaving home and loved ones behind, there is yet no abating of sorrow - nor of the necessity to do it for incalculable reasons. I will be back 10 Dec. Be well all!
