For all of our fellow concerned citizens, Hollis had a special town meeting today where 14 articles in were passed in an attempt to limit the 18-24 spur that Tennessee/ Kinder Morgan is running through our conservation land. For the Spur that they are running thru Pepperell and Hollis, one question has still not been answered. Why are they building a massive gas pipeline to a destination that has no use for even a fraction of this natural gas? Either there is a plan or concept out there that must need this volume of gas. There is no reason to pipe this much fuel anywhere without a demonstrated demand. It would be a lot easier to accept things like a pipeline if you dont feel that you are being lied to from the onset. They cannot justify what they are doing based on any existing or near term needs,
