For almost 10-year after we finished and left our school we have been looking for the opportunity to help our community and our school. Pailin is a province in Cambodia near the border of Thailand and it was one of the first cities invaded by the Khmer Rouge in the late 1970s. TepNiMeth Pailin High School students are energised to learn. They have enthusiastic teachers, great classroom atmosphere and plenty of school spirit. Unfortunately, our students each day deprived of one critical tool for their success: TextBook. Each classroom and student has not enough books for use while in class and to read while in break. School’s library is unable to provide students with some important books for additional reading at home. We want them to have the tools they need to maintain consistent academic performance and this is too important a resource to go unfunded. Will you help us to meet our goal of buying 500 textbooks to donate to our community? We hope that you will be able to join us in funding.
