For any SWC students that may have known Mr. Chieffo Via Karen Davis Rwankole: Many of you have expressed your grief over the loss of Mr. Chieffo. He was a beloved member of the Churchill community and was well respected by both students and staff. He passed away early on Friday morning from a liver infection that the doctors were not able to get under control. As many of you already know, those wishing to pay their respects can do so tonight at McInnis and Holloway’s Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle NW) from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, and his funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 1:00pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive NW). In addition, you are welcome to come by the school from Tuesday to Friday this week to sign a journal that will be given to his family. This will be set up in the main foyer. If you need a hug from a former teacher, feel free to find one of us. Although the circumstances are sad, we do always love seeing you again.
