For any of you traveling through downtown this weekend, heres a heads up...I-71 is going to be closed. You can find more on 10tv/traffic. Here are the details. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 I-71 north will be Closed – 10 p. m. Friday to Monday 5 a.m. -At 8 p.m., the ramp from Broad St. to I -71 north will close. -At 9 p.m., I-70 east will be reduced to two lanes at Grant Ave. -At 10 p.m., I-71north will be closed and traffic will be detoured onto I-670 east to Leonard Ave.to I- 670 west to I-71 north. Police will be there to direct traffic. - The closure is for final course of asphalt paving.
