For anyone in the Tourism Industry in Mid Wales; Please share, The Cambrian Mountains Tourism Network Is looking for a Chairperson. Expenses paid for approx 3 - 4 days work a month. Please PM me for details, and Ill also add you to the CMT network group on Facebook, if youre already on that the details are there! Purpose of the Network: To bring together tourism associations and individual businesses who are committed to playing an active part in developing the business and community benefits and potential of the Cambrian Mountains as a tourist destination. The role of the chair is: To provide leadership to the management committee and the organisation to enable it to fulfil its purpose. To ensure an effective relationship between: the committee and the membership of the organisation, the committee and external stakeholders the committee and any staff or volunteers Act as a spokesperson and figurehead for Cambrian Mountains Tourism as appropriate. To undertake fund raising activities on behalf of the organisation in order to further it’s aims. Represent the network throughout the development of the roles and responsibilities of the wider destination development. Applications need to be in by Weds 13th Nov.
