For anyone wondering the status of GiGi, mom and I are on the way to equine specialty hospital with her and terra. No change since this morning and GiGi still wont nurse. If you dont already know the lowdown, GiGi wasnt feeling well this morning and the vet diagnosed her with bacterial colitis. Received high dose of antibiotics and mom was given 3-5 days worth of IM antibiotics and charcoal paste to administer at home. Vet said if no nursing by tonight she needs IV fluids. So here we are on the way to the vet. Pray for a quick recovery and a strong foal.
