For as long as I can recollect, Christianity is egocentric. It’s basically new money, new job, new season, new spouse, new house, new car, new promotion, and levels all for you; it’s all about you! The underlying message of todays Christianity is basically don’t worry about Biblical accuracy if it inconveniently gets in your way. It also discreetly preaches that Biblical obedience is all fine and dandy as long as it can work for you, tastes and feels good, sounds good without using discernment, and makes you happy so that you are apparently not required to make any changes in yourself. With this ideology, today’s Christianity is practically “Biblical New Age and Scriptural Humanism.” Well, you know what? I will cry aloud and spare nobody’s finicky feelings! Aside from love, self-denial is arguably one of the most echoed themes in Scripture in both testaments. Here is correction to the aforementioned examples of egocentricity. You need to give your money to those in need with a new mentality of financial priority and stewardship, you need to preach the gospel of YAHUSHA HA MASHIYACH to every creature obediently on your new job, you if applicable need to repent from divorcing your spouse and don’t remarry or even date another person of the opposite gender until your former spouse is physically dead before you even think about making a new covenant unto the death with a new spouse, you need to get your current home in order before you even think about getting a new house, you need to appreciate every mode of transportation with sincere thanksgiving before you even think about getting a new car, you need to humble yourself before you are promoted into a new level of humility, and you need to understand as much as you can of your current level before you go into the next level! How do you like me now, boo-boo? Lovingly fear THE MOST HIGH ALMIGHTY and keep HIS commandments with repentance because this is the whole duty of mankind according to Ecclesiastes 12:13. #Christianity
