For as much as I speak out against technology controlling us, I often find myself as guilty as most anyone else. Now granted you wont see me constantly posting selfies or posting a wcw, tbt, and whatever the hell else there is, I find myself on this damn box way too much. My problem is theres so much I want to read and learn about. I tell people all the time Ive learned more since Ive been out of school than the whole time I was in school and college, and I attribute much of that to the ease of access to information provided by this technology. Theres so much Ive read and videos and tutorials Ive watched, reading the views and counter-views of so many people on so many subjects. But is the knowledge Ive gained worth the time Ive lost? Doubt it. For as much good as can be done with these devices, were losing much of our humanity because of them. I know Im going to start seriously looking at my use of this thing. Balance is key. Let it serve you, dont serve it. Theres a whole world going on outside the box we spend so much time looking at. As the cliché goes, think outside the box.
